The District of North Saanich is the most northerly community on
the Saanich Peninsula on Vancouver Island, British Columbia.
This beautiful municipality is home to approximately 11,000 people.
It contains a mix of agricultural and residential neighbourhoods and
a light industrial area. There are two major transportation centres — the
Victoria International Airport and the Swartz Bay terminal of B.C. Ferries,
and a large research laboratory, the Institute of Ocean Sciences.
The North Saanich Residents Association was established in 1948 to promote public
interest and participation in the affairs of the District of North Saanich. While
you must be a resident or property owner to vote, anyone is welcome to join.
For more details on membership go to How to Join.
