Getting Here
Driving here would undoubtedly be the scenic drive of a lifetime. The Maps  page gives a general view of how you would drive. More detailed information can be found on a BC Highways map if you choose this method of transportation. We are approximately 12 driving hours from Vancouver. Please check with your host for road conditions into the lake as wet weather may degrade road conditions considerably for the last stretch of road off the main highway..

The most preferred option is to fly via Pacific Coastal Airlines, located on the south side of Vancouver International Airport. They have flights to Anahim Lake from Vancouver daily in the summer months. Arrangements can be made for your hosts to pick you up at Anahim Lake and drive you to the Cottage, which is approximately 45 minutes away. You also can choose to hitch a ride on a fly-in charter from Anahim Lake to Charlotte Lake.

Some commercial charters are also available via float plane which will take you either directly to Charlotte Lake or to Nimpo Lake, and from there, it is a 12 minute float plane ride into Charlotte Lake or again your hosts will be there to pick you up if so desired.
