1 cup mix dried fruit (banana chips, mango, pineapple, apple -
whichever you like)
1/4 raisins
1/4 cup shelled sunflower seeds
Select any of the above ingredients and mix together for a
very
healthy and tasty treat. Your kids can help make their own trail
mix - take them to a local health food store that has bulk items.
There are usually several types of dried fruit, carob covered
pretzels and other goodies from which to choose. They often
have bulk roasted soynuts, too. If not, look for bags of seasoned
soynuts in the produce section or with the health foods.
