Thank you for visiting this website on The Saskatoon Nordic Ski Club's recreational and competitive cross country skiing and wilderness hiking in Saskatoon and surrounding area. The club offers an exciting range of skiing and hiking activities, instruction, and events for all ages and skill levels. There is an established youth program -jackrabbits and bunnies- for instruction and training. A high perfromance training group -HIPER- for the skiing enthusiast. And a special learn to ski program for the older adult.

Regular cross country ski tours throughout the winter are organized by the club for Sunday ski tour outings. Various destinations near Saskatoon are chosen for these popular Sunday winter ski tours. The club also has a popular day hiking program during the Fall and Spring. A frequent destination for club members year round is our own Eb's Trails. Don't have ski equipment yet? See rental info.

The Nordic Ski Club Saskatoon has been active for over 40 years. Sunday ski tours, winter ski trips, loppets, instruction, hi-performance training children and youth and older adult ski programs, hiking and weiner roasts are just a few of the activities we offer our members. So do join today!

In the winter, the club regularly sets ski tracks in Kinsmen Park (2.5km of trails) and Wildwood Golf Course (5km of trails), and at Eb's Trails just north of Duck Lake.

Hiking: In the Spring and Fall, these Sunday trips take in day hikes within areas near Saskatoon. Especially popular in the Fall are the Sunday hikes + Fall suppers. After a day's hike we join a local friendly community's delicious Fall supper.

The club also produces a newsletter called Kivilski. And we act as an advocate for cross country skiing and outdoor recreation in Saskatoon and within the province. As a member you can keep informed of club activities and events through the Kivilski.
