Critical Mass Rides:

 

Rush Hour Rides: The Last Friday of Every Month, meeting at Central Park 4:30 p.m., ride leaves at 5:00 p.m. (On Edmonton St. - North of Ellice Ave.)

The February 23rd, 2007 Critical Mass ride marked the first solid year of consecutive monthly rides in Winnipeg !! 

Cruise Night Rides: Occur on Sunday Nights during "Cruise Night" postponed until further notice. Keep your "ear to the ground" for the next Cruise Night Critical Mass! It is sometimes necessary to move away from the curb lane, while passing, or attempting to pass, slower cyclists (in keeping with the Manitoba Highway Traffic Act). In this case, because the riders were constantly passing each other, the entire 4 lanes of Portage Avenue were required!

About 30-35 Massers taking up all 4 lanes of Portage Avenue during "Cruise Night". "Cruise Night" is a regular Sunday Night occurrence in Winnipeg, where cars "cruise" the main drag all night long, people line the curbs to watch the cars, and gallons upon gallons of fuel are wasted on "cruising"!!!
