We used the funds to spay and neuter 115 stray and feral cats. Sixty two of them were female, helping to reduce the feral kitten situation that is overwhelming Greater Victoria.
May 2011 - Thrifty foods Smile Card – Help kittens while you shop for groceries! If you shop at thrifty foods you can help vaccinate stray and orphan kittens by using a Smile Card. Contact Natalie to obtain a card and start shopping. More info on the card programs can be found here.
Ongoing - Foster homes for pregnant feral cats are urgently needed! We have many pregnant feral cats that need a place to have their kittens safely. They are heavily pregnant, and need a room of their own, to queen. They will not allow any human contact, and need to have a place to stay for about 1 month. Once their kittens are one month old, we will hand raise them and place them in adoptive homes. The momma cats will be spayed and returned to their colony.
