  • Again, I would like to express to you my gratitude for your wonderful work. After spending the past seven years singing large repertoire with large orchestras, the voice has grown considerably since Darren Wren and I last worked together. Your phenomenal craftsmanship was crucial in creating what was a precise balance between Darren and I. It allowed Darren the freedom of not having to give 150% in volume on a continuous basis therefore allowing myself the freedom of engaging the voice at it's fullest and giving us both the satisfaction of portraying the composer's intentions dynamically. One of our concerns when we started working on the project back in March 05' was how we would mic the guitar in such a way that we would create the proper balance between voice and guitar without sacrificing the quality of Darren's beautiful instrument. Anton, you were the answer. The end result was not merely a guitar that was mic'd and amplified, but instead, a significantly more present instrument. We were both exceptionally pleased with the end result stemming from your generous contribution of time, expetise and ingenuity to this recital. Shaping sound is an art form, and Anton, you are a true artist!
