UPDATED July 5 2009

With the following updates theViper Racing game works with all Windows operating systems from ' 95 thru and including Windows 7.

First get the NEW "Viper Racing.exe" file, that is a MUST.This file goes in the MAIN folder"
location eg:
"C:\Sierra\Viper Racing" - Viper Racing being the MAIN folder.

Secondly get the 1.2.4patch ... "race.bin" file.
Install that into your "Data" folder:
location eg:
"C:\Sierra\Viper Racing\Data" folder( instructions included in the 124patch.rar ).

Then:
Make a shortcut from (Viper Racing.exe) in your MAIN folder to the desktop.
Rite click on shortcut/left click "properties"/click the "compatability" tab/
make sure that NO box has a checkmark in it - -
Like this:

Uncheck any boxes ( if they have a checkmark ) then click "Apply" then "Ok".
Now double click the VR shortcut and the game will work.

NOTE TO WINDOWS 7 USERS:

In Multiplayer gaming with Viper Racing and some other games,Windows 7 has a "glitch" causing
MAJOR lag which is easily fixed in a registry setting.

NOTE:
NEVER have the VR programs "Trackman" or "Carman" running while adding cars or tracks to your "Data" folder.
