Men's 14th Century Clothing
A small disclaimer. The shapes of the drawn pattern pieces are right but the proportions are not perfect. First you need your braies. These are essentially boxers. They have a drawstring waist and slits in the shorts at the hips for the hose to tie to the waistband. They are made of white or natural linen.
Over you braies you wear your hose. Two separate pants legs with feet attached. They tie to the waistband ofthe braies and you wear garters for a tighter fit at the knee. They can be made of linen or wool or wool lined in linen for warmth.
Next you have your under-tunic and over- tunic. Your undershirt should be of linen cut similarly to the tunic but not open down the front and not as full. The tunic laces or buttons down the front, is a little more full than the under-tunic and can be made of wool or linen.

Next is the coif. Of white linen it should fit close to the head and be worn always.

Next is the hood. Made of wool. It can be dagged or shaped at the hem. Your head should be able to fit through the neck part and your face should be able to stick out the front.
The pouch should be made of leather with a buckle. Your knife can hang in the opening off the belt behind the pouch so that the pommel sticks up.
