NVC YOUTH BEACH LEAGUE 09

Mondays and/or Thursdays 5:00pm – 6:30pm **May 18, 2009 - June 25, 2009**

Held at the new Bowen Park Park Beach Courts

DESCRIPTION:
NVC is pleased to offer a BEACH Volleyball program that introduces young athletes to the sport of BEACH volleyball. The goal of our program is to offer opportunities to develop the fundamental skills of beach volleyball in a fun setting.
The league is open to all female athletes currently in grades 5 - 8. Each Monday and Thursday session begins with instruction time for skill acquisition, and then followed by game play.

 

FEATURING:
STEPHEN EPP
Stephen is currently the 14u NVC Girl's head coach. Stephen is an NCCP Certified Beach Coach and Level 2 Indoor Coach. Last hear he ran the NVC Youth League and will be making himself available to coach for this year's BEACH League.

BILL ROUNIS Bill is currently the 18u NVC Girl's head coach and former Team BC 16u Girls Head Coach, last season Bill's 17u Girls won the Provincial title here in Nanaimo. Bill is an NCCP Level 3 Certified Indoor Coach and an NCCP Level 2 Beach coach.

REGISTRATION
Due to an overwhelming response to our leagues registration for each day Will be on a first come first serve basis
Each session has a 24 athlete maximum and a 12 athlete minimum
You will receive an email confirming your registration.
COST is $85 for one night/wk or $125 for both nights.

MONDAY NIGHTS

DATES: MAY 18, 25; JUNE 1, 8, 15, 22

TIME: 5:00pm - 6:30pm

LOCATION: Bowen Park Beach Courts, Nanaimo

DATES: MAY 21, 28; JUNE 4, 11, 18, 25

General League Information

O        PAYMENT - cash, cheque payable to Nanaimo Volleyball Club can be mailed in advance.

O        CHECK IN - 10 minutes prior to start time

O        PLEASE BRING - a water bottle, sunscreen, and beach shorts (no bikini's)
