Papa Nambus are also (although
rarely) called Modified Type A Nambu Pistols or
Modified 1902 Nambu Type Pistols. There were two makers, Tokyo Arsenal (also
called Koishikawa after the part of

The last one I got was the most
beat-up, but that really didn’t matter to me. I wanted one to show disassembled
in my display, and I didn’t need a pristine example for that. Besides, I got it
for a great price, and it does have a couple of interesting features: after
all, every gun has its story!
