A Halloween gig that was truly scary, but for all the wrong reasons! The venue was located in a big room at the back of a cafeteria located in the bowels of a trashy suburb outside Vancouver. Insufficient lighting and poor sound made it impossible to hear or see to play which resulted in the "Helen Keller" experience for the band on stage. The overcrowded and tiny stage also added to the claustrophobic atmosphere. The band struggled through a clumsy set for 30 minutes until the performance was brought to an abrupt end by the sudden departure of a thoroughly frustrated Mr. Fist.

Despite these obstacles, the audience response after the show was remarkably positive and no one seemed to be aware of the hell happening on the stage. Will wonders never cease!
