Exterior In 1965 the Acadian Beaumont retained the sales-winning style it had set in the previous year for the intermediate model size cars. "Styling-refinements" are the best way to describe appearance changes for the '65 model year. New mouldings, spears and other distinctive ornamental changes appear throughout the Beaumont line-up. Body: Heavier body mounts. Front end sheet metal rubber mounted. Chassis: Improved rear suspension isolation. Smother ride achieved through use of larger bushing in the suspension control arms. Additional changes include, lower rate front and rear springs and low profile tires.
