Solution:
Don't want to paint yourself into a corner? How about
getting stuck up or down the steps after you paint them.
Well I have a solution so you don't get trapped!
For outdoor or basement steps mix a little bit of sand
with your paint and you'll have a gritty surface to step
on and less chance of slipping.
When it comes to painting the steps there are a couple of
ways you can do it. To ensure that you can use the steps
while they're drying, paint half of the step so that you
can walk up or down on the other side. However, I prefer
to have a nice smooth look on each step without a line in
the center, so I like to paint every other step. This way
you can skip steps while you're going up and down. Let
those dry and then go back and paint the other steps! |
