mplan templates

MPLAN Solutions offers maintenance templates fora wide variety of aircraft.
Experience makes the difference, let the professionals make your maintenance control simple!
Maintenance Templates

An MPLAN Template details all of the Scheduled Maintenance requirements for an aircraft type. This includes all of the airframe and engine inspections, and all of the overhaul, retirement and inspection lives for every component!
All required part numbers are set up with ATA codes, NHA, manufacturer, and notes regarding applicability and aicraft S/N ranges. Valid Alternate part numbers and Substitute links are also set up.
Individual components and inspections are linked so that they can be updated as Assemblies. A list of the Parts Required for every maintenance event can be printed when due, as well as a Check Sheet of individual inspection items. The Tech Log system is set up to automatically update the appropriate airframe and component logs at each maintenance event. Customization of templates is also easy. You can add your own requirements or change the manufacturer's.
| clients talk: The template is working out extremely well thanks. A very well built template and your company should be commended on the thoroughness and accuracy. A new revision of the AMM was released a few weeks after we started loading data but there were only a few minor changes and the layout of the template made it a breeze to update. Benefits Of Templates

WinAir software requires that the user build Maintenance Schedule Templates before any actual aircraft can be added to the system. Once the templates are built, adding aircraft is quick and easy. But the time and experience required to build the templates can make it a daunting task. With MPLAN templates you don't need the time, or even the experience. In fact, even if you don't have much experience with the aircraft type, you will be able to quickly set up new aircraft in your system and rest assured that no maintenance will be missed. Other major benefits include:
Fast and simple set up of technical records - for each aircraft, all you need to do is attach it to the appropriate MPLAN template and all the possible maintenance requirements are instantly set up for you. Then you simply mark each one as applicable or not, and enter the current compliance details.High Quality records without high cost - MPLAN templates are structured to make records updates a clerical task. Valuable management or technician time is not wasted in front of a computer. Almost impossible to overlook any scheduled maintenance - MPLAN templates define all the possible requirements for an aircraft including inspections, airworthiness limitations (retirement lives), overhaul requirements, and repetative service builletins and ADs.
Assemblies - sub-components, inspections, and ADs are linked into assemblies with automated update, removal, and installation (not available with WinAir Lite)
Never install the wrong P/N or install too many or too few components. The MPLAN template defines every component position on the aircraft and each one has a predefined list of associated part numbers that can be installed.
Next due times are always correct - MPLAN templates define the inspection, overhaul and retirement intervals for each P/N in each specific position.Custom Counter Units - in addition to standard hours, cycles, landings, days, months and years, Custom Counters are built in where required, such as APU hours, RINs, abbreviated and multiple engine cycles, etc.
Eliminate calculation errors - make inspection updates and component changes accurate and effortless with the integral Flight Log.
Integrated reporting - see all requirements on one report with multiple sorts and filters. No need to print multiple reports for hourly, cycle and calendar limited items, or for components and inspections, or for engines and airframe. Choose the Compliance Report to see current compliance details, or the Forecast Report to get a list of projected maintenance coming up.Flexible fleet reporting - generate reports for specific items fleet-wide. See all your engines on one report, or all your annual inspections, etc. Select options on the fleet report to get exactly what you need.
ATA-based numbering system - standardized for all maintenance requirements across all MPLAN templates.
Customizable - add or remove requirements to suit your operation and your installed equipment. See the Customization page for details.
Rotable part details - every MPLAN template updates your master inventory list with all the rotable part numbers that can be installed, and all the consumables required for the maintenance tracked by the template. Each part number includes S/N applicability, IPC ref, NHA, valid substitutes, alternates, procurement details, etc.
Easy to Upgrade - the data structure is compatible across all WinAir Editions so that upgrade to a more full featured application is simple. Your templates can be upgraded without loosing any custom changes you have made.
Required parts lists built - in for inspections and component changes. Think how much time this will save. No more paging through the IPC looking for the parts needed to change a component (not available in WinAir Lite). See the sample of Required Parts Report.
| clients talk: Our Mplan templates are very thorough with all the details from the manufacturer included. Installing them was a very good exercise in QA, it forces you to take a fresh look at all the items that Mplan has included and confirm (hopefully for the second time) each item’s applicability. There are good parts lists and inspection sheets as well - Worth the money! Harvey Siemens, Quality Assurance, Airborne Energy Solutions |
Template Features

One of the significant advantages that WinAir offers is the ability to define all of the maintenance requirements for an aircraft type, and then select which ones should apply to each specific aircraft. This ensures that you avoid having several aircraft of the same type set up with inconsistent maintenance tracking. An MPLAN template builds a master list for you that includes all of the following requirements:
All Airframe and Engine Scheduled Inspection requirements
All ADs applicable to the Airframe and Engine, with embedded links to the ADs
Inspection, Overhaul, and Retirement requirements for every affected P/N of Airframe and Engine component in every possible position on the aircraft
Assemblies defined through linked component and inspection requirements
Custom Counters defined as required for type-specific maintenance intervals such as APU hours, RINs, multiple engine cycles, etc.
Parts Requirements attached to each Inspection or Component change
Applicable Rotable and Consumable parts defined in the Master Parts list including Class, NHA, Manufacturer, ATA code, and applicable ADs
Approved Substitute parts links
Valid Alternate part number links
Technical Logs and default Fleet Report options defined
ATA code database defined
Parts Classifications database defined
Position, Rotable Conditions, and Issued By databases definedCustomization

MPLAN Templates can be customized to suit the unique requirements of your organization. Your requirements might include:
Optional equipment that may be installed on your aircraft
Approved deviations from the manufacturer's maintenance recommendations
Additional maintenance requirements defined internally by your maintenance department
Maintenance required by a unique operating environment such as hot, cold, or corrosive conditionsWe can customize your MPLAN Templates to accommodate such requirements, or you can make the necessary changes yourself once a template has been installed.
Manufacturer Approval

All MPLAN Templates are based on the Manufacturer's Maintenance Recommendations for the aircraft series. Each template usually covers all types that share a common set of maintenance manuals.
Every maintenance requirement in every MPLAN Template has a documented reference in the manuals for the aircraft. Each template is current on the date it is supplied and the issue and revision number of the reference manuals used is documented.
NOTE: Templates are not to be used in place of current manufacturer's technical documentation. MPLAN will not distribute copyrighted material which you have not already purchased for your own use. Your organization must already own the right to the use the technical data included in a template.
