India Club of Vancouver

India Club provides the following to Gandhi Jayanti Celebrations:

Communication
with the community and its members

Organization
of the ceremony and cultural portion

Providing
funds for the first prize, post-secondary category of the Gandhi Peace Awards
How
we work
India
club was established 32 years ago to serve the community. Over this
period this club has grown tremendously. Our aim is to maintain the size
of our organization and involve active new members.
We
aim to:

have
fun whilst being involved in worthwhile, charitable pursuits;
-
be
inclusive and welcome diversity;
-
be
a secular organization welcoming members from all religious
backgrounds and embrace universal value of cooperation and
fellowship;
-
bridge
gap between cultures and generations through activities involving
youth; and
-
encourage
the attainment of excellence amongst Indian youth both academically
and in terms of contribution to the community.
How
we select our members
The
Board of Directors may approve new members after discussion of their
application based on the following criteria:
We
