Welcome to the "DOG'S PAGE"
Becky & Howie Morrow's ongoing tribute to their wonderful little Terrier cross Doggies. Nikki was a mixed Terrier cross. She came to us from the Nagy familie's YODA in March of 1998. After two successful, three puppy litters, and eleven wonderful years, she now watches over us from Doggy Heaven. Nikki and her two girls mated with pure bred JRT's (Jack Russell Terrier) and produced some amazing offspring. Nikki: 4 males / 2 females, Holly: 3 males, Cali: 3 females / 2 males. |

In late 2008 we received some unsettling news regarding our #1 dog, Nikki. She had been diagnosed with canine lymphoma cancer and the prognosis was not good. As heart breaking as this was, we cherished every moment we had with her. She hung in there but the disease slowly took it's toll.
She had a wonderful life with us and brought us many, many happy memories, not to mention the legacy of 14 puppies. Both Becky and I did our best to make sure she was comfortable and attended to during her final period of life. Nikki left us on Sunday, November 8th after a very courageous battle with cancer. Not once did she complain or show any signs of intolerance to the cancer. She surpassed the time she was given by the Vet by almost eight months. When things got too much for her, we decided to have her put to sleep rather than suffer. We miss you NIkki, always will love you, and will never forget you ! H & B November '09 |
