Marianas to Everest Endless Stair Challenge - In Progress

It's 106800 stairs, like the ones I walk up, from the bottom on the Marianas Trench to the top of Everest.
Everest is 29028 feet, The Marianas is 35798 feet, a total of 64826 feet.
I'm going to put one foot in front of the other until I've taken every one of those steps.
Care to join me?
The Trans-Canada/Sam's Path, Long Walk Challenge
- IN PROGRESS
The Trans-Canada is 7821 'clicks' one way (4860 miles but I think it's
against the law to convert it). I'll be going West to East.
Sam's journey "There and Back Again" is 6452 kms (4009 mi)
It's a simple game; I go for walks and keep track of the distance. When I hit a landmark I note it.
The CN Tower Stair Climb Challenge - COMPLETED
In short, I'm going to climb 282 stairs per day for a week.

-Day 1: Saturday February 3rd 2007
1776 stairs take a person from the bottom to the top of the CN tower (or vice versa since stairs are so cool). That means that I would have to climb the 282 stairs by my house 6.3 times to simulate the climb and reach that neat revolving restaurant at the top of the tallest stairwell in the world. Since climbing .3 of the stairs wouldn't be very gratifying I'll just round it to seven. Besides it works out to once a day for a week then.
-Day 2: Sunday February 4th 2007
My legs started hurting after yesterday, today I punished them for their mutiny. 282 more stairs under my belt, and a little more fat out from under it.
-Day 3: Monday February 5th 2007
YES! 282 more, and walking to Subway each day may be short and easy but at least I'm not on the couch.
-Day 4: Tuesday February 6th 2007
~1100 down, ~900 to go. I will not let my brain allow me to quit.
-Day 5: Wednesday February 7th 2007
Victory is within my grasp! Another successful day.
-Day 6: Thursday February 8th 2007
Only one day left!
-Day 7: Friday February 9th 2007
Tonight I dine at the best restaurant in town, with the best woman a man could dream of. Why?
7 consecutive Days, 2000 Stairs Total, First Week of Exercise, Pain, SUCCESS!
