George and Shirley visited the classroom on the afternoon of the 22nd.
George was blinded by an accident.  He brought his seeing eye dog, Tarka.
Tarka was trained by a school funded by the Lion's Club.  It is located in Oakville, Ontario.
Tarka is George's second dog.  He is a black lab.
The children learned that when a seeing eye dog is leashed that it should not be touched or spoken to.  That is because it is working and should have no distractions.
