The Dark Legends clan has gone a very long way to become what it is now. We thought it would be nice to share what the clan has been through from the very start.

this is the history of a clan that was once an idea...turned into an reality

It was around September 2003 that Trunx Prince and Vegeta2499 was thinking about clans... Trunx a members of 'The' Clan and Vegeta a member of Zeonic Force (ZF) thought of their own clan. Trunx by the end of September decided to make it real and make a clan called True Ownage. Eventually after never getting good he closed down True Ownage and started The Dark Legends. Phoenix attacked the first meeting which was under the name True Ownage. (Andrewholler had a lot to do with this site)
 

Around November, Trunx and Vegeta tried to make an avidgamers site which failed. Unreal Trunk made them a site on 50g hosting which was later disbanded. That made Trunx make Unreal Trunk a leader. That was the first time Trunx had a clan being successful. Of Unreal was the root admin at the forums of the 50g site. It was then Trunx made 3 different ranks for equal leader which are Emperor Master and High druid, high druid was later changed to Dark Overlord. Cx around this time joined The Dark Legends. Vegeta then decided to go back to ZF. Trunx and Unreal Trunk decided to make Cx the new dark Overlord. Later Unreal Trunk left The Dark Legends for real life matters. Trunx made a new forums which he posted the url on the 50g forums. That made Of Unreal Delete those 50g forums.
 

By late November they made an s2 forums. Also later Cx paid to have a site made which is www.darklegends.tk. later the s2 sever crashed which made them get s3 forums.

Trunx and Cx had to find a new 'Master' of clan. First try was with Jayzy. Jayzy later left and went back to 'The' Clan. Then they turned to Scorpiontail to lead. Scorpiontail declined. The 3rd attempt was Fear Ninja, who accepted. Around the Fear Ninja acceptance era Phoenix attacked The Dark Legends again.

The daily pk trips made The Dark Legends more active then ever. Some of the most active are Wizardman9, Kinglord28,fussing,arnie9887, lilhermit, weikeathchau. Later joined by strider3282 and various others.

Cx got a job as an actor and Trunx got real life stuff going. Nevertheless soon Trunx got back and he made new leadership positions. Lady Jean2 became a clan judge. Trunx changed his rank from emperor to king which made him slightly the most powerful leader in TDL. It was also around this time that people that was 90+ in combat started to flow in. This brought much more power to TDL...
This was growth was halted by inactivity.

By April 2004 The clan has basically fallen. Trunx was absent since his cousin died and other reasons. Soon he returned and decided to try to bring TDL back. Members were fighting each other and there were betrayals. In the end of all of this only the most loyal members remained. Trunx had to fix these problems, he first decided to try to make DLM (Dark Legends Mafia) by merging with RSMon led by T B Killin. In the end they decided to stick with TDL as the name. So Trunx decided to bring TDL back to be the future best.

The beginning of an new era.. RS2 is released!
Trunx had done well, but TDL was getting too big and powerful for him alone to lead, so he took Tebo who was doing alot of work to make the clan better and made him a leader. Tebo then recruited Dare Defy Me and Pure Eastboy, two of which were important to the clan's future. Dare made a clan site ( www.the-darklegends.tk ) and his brother helped maintain it. Dare was made a General of TDL. Trunx at this time has become an experienced leader, and knew how to run a clan and was teaching Tebo how to as well as organizing other TDL officials.

TDL warred LK and lost, TDL had a 13 people show, LK has used rather harsh tactics. LK gave TDL the wrong time then made TDL come early so they weren't prepared. Lk ended up with an victory, but was later found out that Lk had cheated by bringing allies and friends.

A time of hiding
With the LK war supposedly lost, the members of TDL were outraged, and demanded to prove themselves to be a good, powerful clan. They started to be more and more active by the day, getting hundreds of posts in daily. They all started to recruit, and soon TDL had over 20 people to pk trips daily. About this time many clans were falling and TDL hurried to gather them up. With the members from other clans they gathered, they got former leaders to have leadership positions in TDL through the new rank system made by Tebo. They stopped having clan events with other clans, and had inter clan events to hone their skills even better.

TDL Olympics
The TDL olympics was made up of many events, but only the melee tournament and free for all happened.

When they came out of this period they warred TMRD in a bronze fun war. TMRD had 35 people show and TDL had about 70. The other clan world was stunned at how much TDL was underestimated when TDL mini warred Gladz shortly after.

The MK War
At that time TDL was having a full rune war with MK. The war was saw as even, but peopel started to say TDL would win. In the end TDL came out on top with a shocking turn out of 100-120 people to MK's 70-90. TDL's desire to prove themselves had finally been put to rest....
