Your hosts are Bruce & Laurie Heathcote. Bruce & Laurie first moved onto Mudge Island back in 1993 although they had visited Mudge prior to that.
Bruce has been a Contractor for most of their life together while Laurie has maintained the home life for them and their two children who are now grown and on their own.

Seasonal Cottage renting is a new venture for both of us and a new phase in our lives, another page turned in the book of Life. We are both excited about the prospect of meeting new people and establishing new relationships with them. We love Island life and Cottage life and all that it has to offer, a slower pace and more time just to visit with friends and study the wonders of Nature that appear at your door constantly.

Bruce loves to work on various “Projects” needed to maintain the cabins, while Laurie has a flair for decorating them. There is no end in site for either hobby and it is our hope that we can turn our hobbies into income.

We invite you to come and stay for a week or a weekend and enjoy the natural beauty of the Southern Gulf Islands.
