From the President:

Dear Members,

I’m rushing to get this out to encourage you all to register ASAP for the upcoming CAET AGM and Continuing Education Seminar from 17-20th  June 2008 in Victoria BC.

Fortunately Tammy has recruited a highly educated and experienced team to prepare for the big event.  It is a rare opportunity to be the host Province and I encourage all of you to make every effort to attend.   We (Organizing Committee) are working around the clock to make it a resounding success.

The preliminary Education schedule looks fascinating. Cassie has recruited locally renowned and high profile international speakers.

We also have a number of awesome door prizes as an added incentive to attend (a panoramic city tour for two courtesy of Harbour Air, neurology books and gift baskets to name a few).

I am honoured to serve as President of BCSET and during my stint I’d like to encourage all members to make contributions to the newsletter and give the Executive your input on how we can add to BCSET, so that you get what you desire from your Society.

Please send in letters, queries, educational articles, general tips, jokes  etc., vent, share a laugh or experience, whatever –anything you’d like to see in print  (as long as it’s legal).

Thank you Tammy and Cayle for all the work you have put in to your positions at BCSET and the help that you continue to provide Rhonda and I as we settle into our new roles.

Looking forward to catching up with old friends and making new ones in June.

See you then,

Yvonne

P.S. I registered for the CAET meeting today,  have you registered yet?
