The purpose of the MICA Directory is to assist your search for information and contacts in the Calgary and area music industry.
It puts some "avenues of exploration" onto one website, so people who don't know, can access information about copyright protection and royalties, as well as look for fellow musicians and vocalists. It is also meant to give artists another place to post a link on the Internet and to encourage the locals to get on-line, so the world can hear and see them. To list in this directory, visit To SUBMIT for details. MICA Directory.com is a clean website and does NOT support spyware or ad pop-ups either on site or in it's links. There are no chat rooms or forums. Just lists of contacts and music related stuff to check out. The project was conceived in 2004 by Doug (DF) Faires with input and support from industry professionals and software providers. www.micadirectory.com continues to upgrade in it's third year and into the future, as new software becomes available. Try to get a website or profile page and make sure the server doesn't support pop-ups or nasty links. Then get linked to other websites that are clean and free from cyber-grief. If this directory isn't the place you want, then find another. But get doin' it. If people don't know your talent exists, how will they find it?
