The MGM Bed & Breakfast is located on the east coast of Vancouver Island in Nanaimo, BC. Situated 1.5 hours north of Victoria and just minutes from BC Ferries Departure Bay landing, we're easily accessible by car or Ferry!
Directions
From Victoria, the Nanaimo Airport, or the BC Ferries Duke Point terminal (arriving 8 kilometers south of Nanaimo from Tsawwassen ), follow the route to Highway 1, north to Nanaimo. Once you have reached Highway 1 take the first exit to the Nanaimo Parkway (Highway 19), and continue north until exiting right onto Aulds Road, which becomes Hammond Bay Road, proceed through 6 traffic lights, approx. 3.5 km, then turn left on Fillinger Crescent. Proceed 1.5 km you'll find us on the left at 4950 Fillinger Crescent.
From Vancouver
via the BC Ferries Departure Bay Ferry Terminal, turn right at the first lights and turn up the hill (Brechin Road). Turn right at the next intersection and proceed straight through the (immediate) stop sign onto Departure Bay Road. Drive north past the beach and turn right at Hammond Bay Road. Drive approximately
6.5km along Hammond Bay Road and turn right at Fillinger Crescent. As Fillinger winds toward the water proceed straight through at the 3-way stop. We are on the left at 4950 Fillinger Crescent.
