This was one of the ideas formulated and placed on the old Cloud Portal site late in its completion. The intention of ion (or known as ion Beta from the former Portal) was to be a storage and comprehensive destination of links, files, games and other services for the users of the Portal. It was to be a complete file system of the Portal and encompass and be a single stop destination for viewers to access a wide range of services. However, ion never made it to a RC stage and needed to be completely revamped for the new Cloud Portal. Focusing on a cleaner, more attractive interface, ion now boasts a full array of enhancements for your browsing.
