![]() My Memory Bear....... This was a gift that I will treasure for a lifetime. I had three bears made from my Mom's housecoat, one was for me and the other two were for my sisters. We all value and adore them equally. This is one of the nicest gifts you could give or keep for yourself in order to keep memories of your loved ones close to your heart. I look at my bear everyday and think of my mom and all the fond memories come flooding back. This is a gift and a keepsake that you can never replace. Kelly D. My family asked Barb for a total of 22 Memory Bears - each to be made from a specially selected article of clothing belonging to our Mom. For each of us, the bears have been a way to hold on to precious and personal reflections - a connection with our dear sweet Mom. For me, my bear is a way to still get a hug when I am feeling vulnerable and careworn. These Memory Bears bring a calm reassurance and an emotional bridge that spans even death. Cordially submitted, Fran G. >^..^< My Memory Bears have been a comfort to me since my parents passed away. When my mother passes away I got one bear made for my father and one for myself. Just recently my father joined that great group of people who have gone on before us and are cheering us on in our journey. Now my Memory Bears sit together and I look with fondness at the one made from my Dad's shirt and the other with my Mom's dress..They have a special spot in my home and in my heart. Thank you, Barb... for sharing your creative dream to bless us with Memory Bears by Barb ! Sincerely, Shirley G. My husband was devastated when his father passed away. I felt very helpless when dealing with his grief. It was only when a friend suggested a Memory Bear that I felt like I was doing something worth while for him. I found a beautiful picture of his father, then asked his mom for the shirt his father was wearing in the picture and had a Memory Bear made. His bear now sits in our bedroom beside the picture we both treasure. When my husband feels down, I often see him go to the bear and the picture for comfort. Thank you Barb, sincerely Terryl L. |
