	The Eleanor Cross When Queen Eleanor died in Lincolnshire in 1290, her husband King Edward I brought her body back to London. The journey took several days, and at each overnight resting place the King erected a large stone cross in the Queen's memory. This priceless monument can be seen in the village of Geddington.
TRIANGULAR LODGE Built in 1593 by Sir Thomas Tresham and,like Lyvedon New Bield, symbolic of his adherence to the Catholic faith.
