The purpose of this page is to bring a wide variety of information about coping strategies, research issues and possible treatments for CFS to you as browsers. Chronic Fatigue Syndrome is also known as Chronic Fatigue and Immune Dysfunction Syndrome (CFIDS) and as Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (ME). There is as yet no agreement in the scientific and medical communities with regard to the causes and optimum treatments for this condition. The Association makes every effort to use only responsible sources, but some information may be only speculative. We recommend that browsers consult with a health professional with regard to your own treatment.
