Today, many post secondary educators are being faced with the opportunity and challenge to teach in an online setting. For many this is a new and unanticipated activity and one for which they are ill prepared.

Many questions come to mind such as:

  • How can I decide if my teaching and learning styles will be successful in an online environment?
  • What can I do to create an effective and enjoyable learning environment?
  • How can I encourage active participation from distance students?
  • What can I do to encourage collaboration and cooperation between students?

This web site has been developed for experienced post-secondary educators who want to find out more about online teaching and learning and how to join the ranks of effective, successful and happy online instructors.
