Sky Rope long lines are made from Amsteel - Blue
AmSteel Blue is the latest development of HMPE (high-modulus polyethylene) fiber in a twelve-strand braided rope utilizing Parallay design with  proprietary blue Samthane urethane coating. This rope yields the maximum in strength-to-weight ratio and is stronger than wire rope; Amsteel Blue is so lightweight it will float in water. This incredible strength to weight ratio comes from Amsteel Blue's 12 strand Dyneema SK-75 fiber construction.
It  has the best flex-fatigue and wear resistance when compared to products made of HMPE or post-drawn HMPE fibers. Specific Gravity: .98 (Floats)

Our Helicopter Cargo nets are designed using either the 4-point or 8-point (most popular and recommended) design, which allows them to be more compatible with varied shape and size loads.  We use 3-strand treated nylon twine, double snap-hooks and pear rings on the corners, hand-splice with premesh netting or larger rope for up to a 5000lb. net. Other sizes available upon request.
