The
Model Boat Racing Association of Manitoba would
like to extend a big Canadian welcome to
RC boaters of all expertise
levels to our site. We are a club that welcomes the
beginner timer with their first race boat to the expert and their
race proven machines. Our club strives to create an atmosphere that
will allow everyone from the beginner to the
experienced boater to enjoy the competition of racing
or just putting around. We offer help and/or advice
to the best of our ability, and if we don't know the
answer we have resources to find your
answer.
The club's pond is in the eastern city limits
and at this time is the only pond that can
be used to run radio control boats in the city. We meet
monthly during the off seasons and then at
race day at the pond.
This club bases its classes and
some rules on those of
N.A.M.B.A, since we are a small club and do not
compete in national circuit we modify rules to ensure we have classes
to run. You must have a current
M.A.C.C membership to utilize the
pond and be a club member to compete on the race days. We welcome
anyone interested in the sport to stop by and visit with us, just to
give it a try. Go ahead, come on down and relax, we promise you'll
enjoy it.
