Since their earliest Huguenot ancestors, the Mallandaines have been travelling to the four corners of the world. Today, we know descendants of those early travellers settled in countries such as Canada, Chile, Ecuador, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and the Channel Islands. There are also many more who remained in France and England.
Family histories are created every day and we recognise the importance of the Mallandaines living today, their lives and their stories. However, to protect individual privacy, we have decided not to include living family members on these pages. In order to be featured on our site, you must meet two criteria: (1) you must be a member of the family and (2) sadly, you must be dead.
If you feel you meet these criteria, please feel free to contact us. It should make for an interesting email!
By this time, we realise that curiosity regarding the present day Mallandaines has risen to a fevered pitch. As a result, we asked family members to provide us with a photograph so that we could feature one family member on the website and satisfy the curiosity of our many visitors. We received dozens of photographs and decided that, in the best interests of the family, we should select the most attractive of the lot.
We hope this brief bio will satisfy your curiosity:
