John West Mallandaine and Cecilia Hawkes

John married for the third time on 21 August 1833 at St Dunstan's, Stepney. At the time, Cecilia was living with her sisters, Emma and Kate, and her father, a retired contractor at 7 Lucas Place, Commercial Road. Their home was very close to John's parents who were living on Heath Street, Commercial Road. Cecilia was also acting as a companion to John's sister, Mary.

Following John's death in 1853, Cecilia returned to England. In the 1881 Census, she was living in Folkestone, Kent with her daughters Mary Georgiana and Alice. Cecilia died at Elham Kent in 1888.
