Task Force 45

Task Force 45 was a uniquet task force of British and US antiaircraft units (remustered to infantry), Italian Partisans, Brazilians and colored American troops. Its artillery was provided by antiaircraft guns, tank and tank destroyer guns used in the indirect role, as well as captured German guns.  The engineers in the force were actually Italian civilians.
