During her years of racing, several articles have been written about Sharon. So, wanting to write herself, she decided to give it a try. When she was a member of the Lower Island Track Racing Association, she wrote an article for the Island Racing News and the Goldstream Gazette. More recently, has written several articles for the Geared for Racing magazine, Time-Colonist newspaper, Goldstream News Gazette, and for 2003, she compiled a couple of articles which appeared on the Thunder Valley Racing website, of which she is a contributing writer. With co-writer Ross Rockett, she wrote about the Victoria Auto Racing Hall of Fame, of which she was selected as a committee member in 2002. For the 2003/04 racing seasons, she was asked to write IMS 4's racing articles for the Saratoga Speedway program. She has also contributed to the Pacific Motorsports magazine website. Sharon is modest about her writing, but says she tries to write without all the technical and showy words, so that people of all ages can understand.
