Leo Project/Techwerks is a project studio built for

all the 'right reasons' . Since its 4-track inception, it has always been a 'home-based' facility. The project rates and the non-commercial outlook was a hit with musicians. Over the years, they became long term friends/clients, and word-of-mouth advertisers.

Our 3-point approach is based on KNOWLEDGE , EXPERIENCE, and the use of all the appropriate

TECHNOLOGIES.

The philosophy is simple. In this business, first, figure out WHAT NOT TO DO!!!! Second, DO YOUR OWN THING, with passion and commitment, regardless of current trends and fashion. Honest heart-felt music always stand the test of time.

Our current location is in a delightful Edwardian

period cottage with a real English garden, complete with beautiful birdsong. We have natural daylight all around. The smallness of the space is in sharp contrast to the high-end gear within the walls.

Way back, we recorded Moe Berg, Neo-A4, Office,

and many others that found fame and fortune in

Toronto and elsewhere. We also provided practice/jam space for lots of new bands.

Our Martin/Soundcraft/Bryston rig was the house PA-system at RATT (U of AB) in the 80s, where it was put to frequent use by emerging Alberta and BC bands including The Rip-Chords, Presence, Sub-Humans, Pointed Sticks, DOA, The Mods, This Fear, Silent Movies, Jerry Doucette, and more.

These days, the studio is always busy with in-house productions and many other return clients, who love our 'uniquely creative' approach to Recording and Production. However, musicians with good vibes, are not unwelcome.
