New Media Examples

Over the years I have bee involved with numerous multimedia products as a graphic artist, programmer, and as a producer, and many times as two or even all three. This experiance that I have gained through these projects and the individuals that I have worked with have allowed me to grow and expand, allowing me to produce better work as time goes on.

CD-Rom Based

There are essentially three types of Mutlimedia CD-ROMs that are produced: Training, Promotional, and Presentational. Each of these types of Multimedia CD-Roms are effective for their purposes. I am typically involved in the aspects of management and client relations, programming, and artwork on Multimedia CD-ROM projects.

Training CD-ROMs, also known as Computer Based Trianing (CBT) are essentialy interactive learning tools where a student sits at a computer and is taught (with or without the aid of an instructor).

Promotional CD-ROMs are used for entertainment or as marketing/sales tools by companies.

Presentational CD-ROMs are used by companies and individuals to enhance their speeches or presentations through the use of graphics, video, sound, and keywords.

Internet Based

The Internet has become a vast tool of great importance whose use expands each and every year with the advance of technology. It is a way to market yourself or your company to potential clients or the common visitor in a way that previously was unimaginable.

Today's Internet sites need to be more than just text on a screen, they need to be innovative digital documents with thought put towards design and flow.
