Information

Captain Zap is a game that is being developed by a friend of mine on the garagegames.com website and because of all his hard work and dedication that he is bringing into his project (for the fun of it, he already has a programming career in the games industry), I felt that I should lend him a hand with some art.

The model that you see above is Captain Zap, the main character in the self-titled game. Zap was completely created by me and is rigged up to a bones skeleton system that allows him to be used in the test demos of the game. The model itself is roughly 1300 polys and uses the MultiRes modifier to do dynamic LOD in the engine. Zap uses a 512x512 texture map, which although large, works well since Zap is one of the primary focuses of the game.

Zap was created in 3DS Max R4
