Concordia Choir, a sub-group of the Vancouver Alpen Club, hosted a festival of German song on May 9, 2008 (postponed from June 2007 due to circumstances beyond their control) at the Broadway Church, 2700 East Broadway, Vancouver. Ten choirs from all over the Pacific Northwest (BC, Washington, and Oregon) who sing in German participated in the festival, culminating in a mass choir of 400 members or more. The concert was a success and was well attended. We thank all who helped us.
Our spring concert was also a success. We welcomed the North West Can Can Dancers.
We look forward to our fall concert on October 25, 2009 at the Vancouver Alpen Club.
