Over the past several years I have helped a friend of mine in Barbados with his new home in Barbados On the July long weekend I attended the Dauphin Countryfest where there were all sorts of great acts.. I grew up in the Melita area of Manitoba Canada. My parents were cattle and grain farmers in the area. We even had a lot of sheep at times. Life on the Farm was kinda laid back. My brothers Dwayne and Bert and sister Darlene attended the old Broomhill School #698 and later Hathaway school#792 in the siding of Broomhill. When we reached grade ten, we attended the Melita Collegiate in Melita.. To us, that was a big town then. Upon graduation, I began working with Manitoba Hydro as a lineman and I still work for them as an engineering technician in Winnipeg. I live in the Winnipeg area now. I just love country music, and sometimes (not often enough) I pick up my old guitar that I inherited from my first love Lorna Crucq of Selkirk. I also like to go and sing at karaoke when I get a chance, and when friends. decide thats the thing to do for the evening. As a matter of fact, we did find several places in Barbados which had Karaoke.. The selection was not great as far as country songs, but we did manage.. As well, I enjoy browsing the internet and finding new and interesting links which I share with my family and friends.. (Much to their dismay in some cases) I chat quite a lot with friends on line, one of which is Rebecca Revels of NC Lately I have been doing quite a lot of research in the geneology area --here are a few old Dowd pictures. My (ex) wife Janet Dansereau and I were married quite a few years ago and we have three wonderful sons.. Rodney Rod is now up in Ft McMurray Alberta Bryan who is a web design expert in Calgary Web Design Pro. Craig and Bryan were very excited about the Suite218 endeavour in web entertainment. They managed the enterprise through their site Vycast Which is not under their control now. Jeffrey also works here in Winnipeg as an employee at a local auto sales outlet.
