Bugsy was a veteran (age 9) when his owner Barb Whymark agreed to lend him to me for some months. As with all my dogs, Bugsy was promptly carted off to obedience class. There he demonstrated a complete disinterest in food rewards, but thought tummy rubs were worth the effort. He managed to work his way up to the pre-novice level of competence, but had to be returned home due to an overabundance of doggy houseguests. Before leaving, Bugsy achieved to more BOB wins. He was always a consummate gentleman and pleasure to have around.

Bugsy passed over the rainbow bridge in December 2004. He is missed by all who know him.
