My newest project is Arwen's Requiem dress from Lord of the Rings. I am using Simplicity pattern #8725 to make the overdress and blouse. I've purchased the velvet and trims and just need to get the blouse and sleeve fabric. Here is a picture of my velvet and trim. The velvet is much lighter than it looks.

I have finished the overdress, It just needs to be hemmed. The under top is done, the sleeves are sewn on just currently embroidering the trim for the neckline and sleeves.
