Peter's first fly-in was to Porter Lake in 1983. He has been on every fishing trip since then, including the trip in 1995. (Similar to Baseball, we had one year, 1996, with no season.) Peter has been on the last thirteen consecutive trips from 1997 to 2010. That makes Peter senior member with 27 years seniority.That's right, over a quarter of a century.
Peter won the trophy for Northern Pike at Oliver Lake in 1989 and at Steephill Lake in 1993. He won the Northern Pike trophy and the Angler of the Year Buckle at Hepburn Lake in 2000. He is one of the Lithuanian Fish Mongers that was in the plane that crashed while attempting to land at Mawdsley Lake in 1987. He was the only one to miss the first day's fishing due to his injuries.

Gedi's first fly-in as a Lithuanian Fish Monger was to Mawdsley Lake in 1986. He has been on 10 consecutive trips from 1986 to 1995. There was no trip in 1996. He also attended consecutive trips from 1997 to 2003 and attended again from 2005 to 2010. Gedi has 24 years seniority. Oh yes, Gedi is of Lithuanian ancestry.
Gedi won the Lake Trout trophy at Oliver Lake in 1989. He won the Walleye trophy at Otter Lake in 1990. He won both the Northern Pike and Walleye trophies at Porter Lake in 1991. He won the Lake Trout trophy and the Angler of the Year buckle at Lac La Ronge in 1992. He won the Northern Pike trophy, the Walleye trophy, the Lake Trout trophy, the Other Species trophy, and the Angler of the Year buckle at Theriau Lake in 1994. He won the Northern Pike trophy at Thompson Lake in 1997, and the Walleye trophy and the Angler of the Year buckle there in 1998, and won the Walleye trophy and the Angler of the Year buckle at Thompson again in 2008 . He won the Lake Trout trophy at Forbes Lake in 1999. He won the Lake Trout trophy at Flanigan Lake in 2006. He won the Northern Pike trophy and Angler of the Year buckle at Triveet Lake in 2009 and the "other" trophy for a perch, the Walleye trophy and the Angler of the Year buckle there in 2010. He is also one of the Lithuanian Fish Mongers that was in the plane that crashed while attempting to land at Mawdsley Lake in 1987.
Gedi was also a former Northern Telecom employed Lithuanian Fish Monger during his earlier fishing trips. They sold their Cable Division to Corning Cable Systems formerly Siecor Corporation, in 1994. Like Peter Kooy, Neil's first fly-in was to Porter Lake in 1983. He was on 5 consecutive trips from 1983 to 1987. However, his fly-in trip in 1987 was to Lac du Malle in Quebec. Neil was one of three Lithuanian Fish Mongers transferred to Montreal in 1986 by Northern Telecom.
Neil was transferred back to Saskatoon in 1988 and was on 6 more consecutive trips, from 1989 to 1994. However, as he was transferred back to Montreal in 1992, he had to fly into Saskatchewan for the 1993 and 1994 trips. Neil has attended consecutive trips from 1997 to 2000 and also attended from 2002 to 2010. All told, Neil has 24 years seniority. Neil won the Walleye trophy and the Angler of the Year buckle at Forbes Lake in 1999, and won both of them again at Chitek Lake in 2002. He also won the largest "other" fish species trophy for his rainbow trout at Mirond Lake in 2004 and tied for largest Northern Pike trophy and Angler of the Year buckle at Mirond in 2005.
Neil returned to Saskatoon in 1996, where he now lives with his wife Holly. He has a daughter Laura, and son Kelsey. They are both living in Saskatoon. Neil is the secretary for the Lithuanian Fish Mongers. He has been the secretary since 1989, except for the years that he worked in Montreal. During that time Ed Dyna was secretary. Pete Cosh is the third member to start his fly-ins at Porter Lake in 1983. It was there that he was nicknamed "Tugum" for trying to set the hook in an Arctic Grayling and ripping it's lips off. He was on 4 consecutive trips from 1985 to 1988. Pete's next three trips were in 1990, 1991, and 1992. Pete donated the Angler of the Year buckle in 1991 when he owned Horseman's Supply. He currently has 17 years seniority including consecutive years from 1997 to 2002 and again in 2004 & 2005.
Pete won the Lake Trout trophy at Porter Lake in 1991. He won the Walleye trophy and the Angler of the Year buckle at Thompson Lake in 1997. He won the Northern Pike trophy at Forbes Lake in 1999, and again at Chitek Lake in 2002. He also caught a 19 lb. Northern Pike at Mawdsley Lake in 1986, before trophies were given. Pete is the younger of the Cosh brothers, or "Cosh the Younger". He is also one of the Lithuanian Fish Mongers that was in the plane that crashed while attempting to land at Mawdsley Lake in 1987.

Ed first joined the Lithuanian Fish Mongers in 1991 on the trip into Porter Lake. He has been on 5 consecutive fishing trips, from 1991 to 1995. Ed also attended Thompson Lake in 1998, Forbes Lake in 1999, Pita Lake in 2001, and his own cabin at Chitek Lake in 2002. He also made the trip from 2003 to 2006, and again from 2008 to 2010. Math calculations show Ed has 17 years seniority.
Ed was secretary of the Lithuanian Fish Mongers from 1993 to 1995. He won the Northern Pike trophy at Thompson Lake in 1998 and won the Northern Pike trophy again at Triveet Lake in 2010. Like Gedi, Ed was a former Northern Telecom employee who became a Siecor Corporation employee. He now works for Cameco , and lives in Saskatoon with his wife Debra and son Kenneth. Mac is one of the 4 founding members who went on the first fly-in to Porter Lake, Saskatchewan in 1981. He was on 8 consecutive trips from 1981 to 1988. Mac missed the trip in 1989 as he was on a romp through Paris, Monaco, and parts of Germany. He did however receive a copy of the minutes of the meeting held during his European trip. We faxed a copy to his hotel room!
Mac's next three trips were from 1990 to 1992. He also attended Hepburn Lake in 2000. He won the trophy for Arctic Grayling and the Angler of the Year buckle at Porter Lake in 1991 and the Lake Trout trophy at Hepburn Lake in 2000 . He currently has 12 years seniority. Mac is the elder of the Cosh brothers, or "Cosh the Elder." He is also one of the Lithuanian Fish Mongers that was in the plane that crashed while attempting to land at Mawdsley Lake in 1987.
Mac was transferred by Northern Telecom to Chicago in 1992. He left that company in 1994 and joined Corning Cable Systems formerly Siecor Corporation, moving to Hickory, NC. He currently resides near Hickory with his wife Kim, daughter Malissa, and son Malcolm. Unfortunately, due to timing and the distances involved, Mac has been unable to attend most of the recent fishing trips. It was nice to have Mac attend in 2000 after a 7 year absence. Ken's first trip with the LFM was a boat-in trip to Pita lake in 2001. He then missed 2002 but has been on every fishing trip betwen 2003 and 2008. He attended again in 2010. Ken's first fly-in trip was to Flannigan lake in 2006. Ken has 8 years seniority.
Ken won the trophy for Northern Pike and the Angler of the Year buckle at Mirond Lake in 2003 and won the Walleye trophy and the Angler of the Year buckle at Mirond Lake in 2004. He won the Walleye trophy again at Wathaman Lake in 2007.
Ken was born and raised in the Esterhazy – Tantallon area. He has farmed, worked at IMC Esterhazy and with Welco and now works for Hatch. He currently lives south of Esterhazy with his wife Shirley. They have three children: Jason Johnson of Edmonton, AB, Terence & Tanya Johnson of Red Deer, AB, and Jennifer & James Day & Granddaughter Kaleigh of Edmonton, AB. Geoff's first trip with the Lithuanian Fish Mongers was the houseboat trip in 1992 into Lac La Ronge . Then he was out of province for a while but after returning attended again in 2001 and had five consecutive trips from 2003 to 2007. Geoff has 7 years seniority.
Geoff won the Northern Pike trophy at Lac La Ronge in 1992 and at Mirond Lake in 2004. He won the Walleye trophy at Mirond Lake in 2003 and tied for the trophy and the Angler of the Year buckle in 2005. He also won the largest "other" trophy for a 21" white fish in 2005. Geoff tied for the Walleye trophy and won the Northern Pike trophy and the Angler of the Year buckle at Flanigan Lake in 2006. He won the Lake Trout trophy at Wathaman Lake in 2007.
Geoff resides in Canora with his wife Susan and his two children Emma and Zachary.
Norm’s first trip with the LFM was the 2nd year to Mirond Lake in 2004. Norm’s first fly-in was to Flanagan Lake in 2006. He won the Walleye trophy at Triveet Lake in 2009. Norm has been to the last 4 winter fish trips and is becoming a respectable Kaiser player. Norm has 7 years seniority.
Norm was born in Regina and lived in the Fort Qu’Appelle area for seven years and the last 22 years in Saskatoon. Norm has worked for several electrical manufacturing and wholesale distribution firms as well as being an electrician. He currently works for KVA Dynamo Inc in Saskatoon and his sales coverage is the province of Saskatchewan. He is married to Donna and has one daughter, Chelsea, who lives and works in Calgary. Terry is also one of the 4 founding members who went on the first fly-in to Porter Lake, Saskatchewan in 1981. He was on 7 consecutive trips from 1981 to 1987. However, like Neil his fly-in trip in 1987 was to Lac du Malle in Quebec. Terry was one of the three Lithuanian Fish Mongers transferred to Montreal in 1986 by Northern Telecom. He has 7 years senority.
Although Terry quit fishing in Saskatchewan before trophies were given, he did catch a 26 lb Lake Trout in Porter Lake in 1982. Due to distances and costs, Terry hasn't fished with the L.F.M. since being sent to Montreal.
While still working for Northern Telecom Terry was transferred to Richardson, Texas in 1997. He has since retired and now lives at Sharbot Lake, Ontario with his wife Lynne. Terry can be reached by eMail at lynneterry1313@hotmail.com
Len's first fly-in was to Porter Lake in 1982. He was on 6 consecutive trips from 1982 to 1987. However, his fly-in trip in 1987 was to Lac du Malle in Quebec. Len was the third Lithuanian Fish Monger transferred to Montreal in 1986 by Northern Telecom.
Len's last trip with the Lithuanian Fish Mongers was to Oliver Lake in 1989. He had to fly into Saskatchewan for this trip, as he was still working in Montreal. Len has 7 years seniority.

No one knows J.R.s real name, he has just been J.R. His first trip was to Reindeer Lake in 1984. J.R. was on 6 consecutive trips from 1984 to 1989. He is also one of the Lithuanian Fish Mongers that was in the plane that crashed while attempting to land at Mawdsley Lake in 1987. J.R has 6 years seniority.
J.R. left Northern Telecom in 1995 and moved to Hawkstone, Ontario where he lives with his wife Ann Sutton.
Chris had his first trip with the Lithuanian Fish Mongers in 1988 into Oliver Lake. He went again in 1989 and had two more trips in 1993 and 1994. Including the Regina Beach Ice Fishing Contest in March of 1998, Chris has 5 years seniority.
Chris was, like so many before him, a former Northern Telecom employee. In 1994 Chris left to study Law at the University of Saskatchewan. Chris is currently a lawyer with MacPherson Leslie & Tyerman. Chris lives in Saskatoon with his wife Shirley. You can reach Chris by eMail at cwoodland@mlt.com
