I would have liked to have returned to the Mount Maxwell Park, unfortunately this could not be arranged, so I was sent to the Mount Bruce instead. This was a similar vessel, and on the same run. I joined this ship in early Apr. 1945 and only did about 4 trips on her. The Chief Officer and I had problems so I requested a transfer. I left on the 11 July and was sent out to Vancouver.
