Farmers place these munitions for bomb disposal collection, which is carried out each month. Visitors who wonder from roads and designated pathways are killed and injured each year by these remnants of war. Locals understand from childhood that the woods and fields are dangerous places and walks in the countryside are no longer part of local life.
