Derek Lawson

Derek said to me once that I came into his life like a breath
of fresh air. If I was a bit of fresh air in his life, he was a
whirlwind in mine :-) In the brief time we had he taught me all
about life being to short, about how sometimes unexplained things
just need to be accepted, that going through the most difficult
things in life doesn't change the basic good in a person. Although
he suffered emensely he was the most unselfish person I have ever
known. He quickly became my hero and my inspiration.
