System Requirements

It is not advisable that you run SATURN on a system that does not meet the following specifications.

Installation Procedure

  1. Download the SATURN installer. Version 1.1.0 of SATURN is provided for download, below. It includes sample data files and comprehensive online help documentation, including a tutorial that will introduce you to its features.

    Note: A typical run of the application is described in the Evaluation section, so it is not necessary to download and run the application to see what it does.

  2. Double click on SATURN.zip to launch the file in your decompression utility (see the documention for that utility, if you need further assistance).
  3. Using your decompression utility, Extract the files to the directory where you want to install SATURN. For example, you might tell it to install into C:\SATURN. (Note: you may be asked whether to create the directory. If you are, answer yes. This is normal.)
  4. The SATURN application will be installed to the specified directory, as will a folder for test data, as follows:
  5. To run SATURN, double click on SATURN.exe. (Note: depending on your computer's settings, the ".exe" may not be visible. This is OK: the file will still run if you double click on it.)
  6. Choose Help > Contents from the menus shown in the initial screen to read more. A tutorial is included in the help documentation.

Un-Installation Procedure

  1. Locate your installation folder (for example, C:\SATURN).
  2. First, be careful that you don't have any data files that you want to keep saved in the directory. Second, delete the installation folder using the standard Windows means.
  3. SATURN is now completely uninstalled.
