Cape Blue Tracadie Island Morar Georgeville South River Pringle Lake

Pomquet Island Provincial Park Be sure to look at out last remaining lot on
Tracadie Island

Everybody has a dream and many people, particularly in large urban areas, dream of getting away and of owning a cottage/retirement home by the sea. We, too, had such a dream and were fortunate, with help from other people, to make our dream a reality.

Over the past 30 odd years we were able to help many families to acquire their dream cottage/retirement home, which are now sprouting like mushrooms after good rain. We sold most of our lots. Actually, the lots sold themselves despite our efforts to slow down the sales. This is because our lots represent excellent values and they had no problems to find their buyers from across the North America.

We have only one lot left on Tracadie Island. The prices have remained constant over the last decade while the market for real estate in Nova Scotia went though the roof. Once the last remaining lot is sold we will close this semi-altruistic venture. It has been an interesting experience although it was not an entirely smooth sailing as we hoped for. We had many sleepless nights as the prospect of bankruptcy stared us in the eyes especially in the first years of this venture. We had to learn how to deal with various government departments and agencies. We had to learn to be patient with our surveyors and various contractors but the most painful experience occurred when some buyers, to whom we were always generous and hospitable, mistook our generosity for a sign of weakness causing disappointment. We learned the hard way that the altruism, these days, does not come cheaply. Nevertheless, it was all worth it but the time has come to move on.

You will find the few remaining lots at four locations; Morar, Tracadie, Georgeville and Pringle Lake. All of them are 35km or less from the beautiful town of Antigonish. Saint Francis Xavier U.
