Welcome to my Lava Land web site. I created this site to document the creation of my lighted lava terrain board for use with Star Wars Miniatures Battles (SWMB).

The terrain was built for a SWMB scenario I created called “Assault on Mustafar”. I ran the game at Trumpeter Salute 2006 and at Con-Fusion 2006. The terrain won “Best of Session” for Friday night at Trumpeter Salute and came in third for “Best of Show”.

These pages show how I designed and built the terrain and showcase the final results. I hope you enjoy them and are inspired to create your own great terrain.
