Laura Zerebeski

I am a full-time expressionist painter with a surrealistic edge. I paint urban landscapes and personify buildings so they look like the people that live in them. To see my work, go to Portfolio. For a list of what I'm working on, see my To Do list. See my FAQ for commission information and my policy on giclée prints.

May, 2011

  • East Van Cross Stitch. A few of my pieces are being made into Cross Stitch pattern designs. Check out Geckorouge on Etsy. I've never done a cross-stitch in my life but I'm going to give this one a try!
  • 131 Water Street Show - I have 25 paintings at 131 Water Street. I'm having an "Artist's Night" Wednesday, May 25th. 5ish to 9ish. Come by and I'll buy you a beer. There are big screens there and if there's hockey being played somewhere, it will be on screen. I'll have a sack of my coveted East Van buttons to give away plus whatever else is collecting dust at the studio. It won't be pretentious, but it'll be fun.

April, 2011

  • I'm in CARDED! on Saturday, April 30th at Gallery Gachet (88 E Cordova, Vancouver). It's a one night Art Card trading event. 8-11pm.
  • Next show is in May at 131 Water Street, Gastown.
  • One of my favorite painting subjects is homes. I've added a new section on the website to showcase some of my work here.
